Since August 2018, the Town of St. George has provided the YMCA of Greater Saint John with primary usage of the Magaguadavic Place Community Center. The usage has been provided at no cost to the YMCA, who has operated fee-for-service childcare such as an after school program or a summer care program.
In June 2019, a two-year operational agreement was signed between the Town and the YMCA. The YMCA has informed the Town they found a possible alternative location that fits their operational/financial plan.
