Please be advised on WEDNESDAY, JUNE 22, there will be a “Reverse Parade” for Graduates on Main Street.
The Reverse Parade will have Graduates and their families standing along the North side of Main Street in view of vehicles passing by.
Main Street Closure 5:30 pm
ALL ROAD ACCESS to Main Street will be CLOSED from the intersection of Portage Street to Riverview Avenue, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
- Traffic will move East (from Riverview Avenue) to West (Portage Street) led by an RCMP escort.
- Parking areas at 6 Main St (across from Pete’s) and 40 Main St (across from Pub on Main) will not have access to enter or exit until after the Reverse Parade.
- Parking areas at St. Mark’s Anglican Church and next to the Beacon will still have access via Clinch Street.
ALL STREET PARKING must be CLEARED by 5:30 p.m.
Road access will be restored immediately following the Reverse Parade. (Estimated time: 7:30 p.m.)
Drive-by Lineup Information
Vehicles to parade by the graduates will be lining up at Magaguadavic Place (J.O. Spinney Drive).
Parade begins at 6 pm and will follow an RCMP escort.
Grads are invited to Day Adventure Center at 4:00 pm for photos with friends. Susan Hill Photography will be on site. Grads and parents or guardians take marked spot on Main Street between Riverview Avenue and the Post Office, from 5:30-5:45 pm.
