BY-LAW NO. EC-4

A BY-LAW RESPECTING THE CORPORATE SEAL FOR EASTERN CHARLOTTE

 

PURPOSE: A By-Law of Eastern Charlotte, in the Province of New Brunswick, respecting the Corporate Seal for Eastern Charlotte.

WHEREAS: The Minister of Local Government and Local Governance Reform may make or amend by-laws of a restructured local government as per An Act Respecting Local Governance Reform, section 11(2);

WHEREAS: The enactment of this by-law repeals the following by-law(s);

  • By-law # 73-1 – Corporate Seals for the Village of Blacks Harbour

 

BE IT ENACTED by the Minister of Local Government and Local Governance Reform as follows:

 

1. THE CORPORATE SEAL

The Corporate Seal for Eastern Charlotte shall be the seal an impression of which is affixed to this by-law under Appendix “A”.

2. CUSTODY OF THE SEAL

The Clerk of Eastern Charlotte shall have custody of the Corporate Seal which shall be affixed by them to all by-laws, leases, licenses, contracts, conveyances and other instruments in writing granted or issued by order of the Council or otherwise provided for by any Act of the Legislature of the Province of New Brunswick or by any Act of the Parliament of Canada relating to Eastern Charlotte.

3. EFFECTIVE DATE

Given under the hands of the Transition Facilitator, on behalf of the Minister of Local Government and Local Governance Reform, on this 27th day of December, 2022.
