There is a planned shutdown of the existing water main on Portage Street scheduled on Wednesday, September 26th, 2018 at 8:30am. The water system will be shut down from between the hours of 8:30am and 6:00pm. Please note that you will be without water during that time. Please take an opportunity to draw water for your daily needs prior to the shutdown time of 8:30am. Water heaters should be turned off during the shutdown to prevent damage to heating elements.
Starting Wednesday, September 26th, a boil water order will be in place for affected residents. When water is restored, all water to be used for cooking, drinking, or any consumption must be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute. This boil water order will last until two clean samples are obtained by the Department of Health. Updated: The Boil Order has been lifted (03 October 2018, 10:10am)
