The Council for Eastern Charlotte follows a hybrid model of representation. Members are elected by two means: (a) per Ward, elected by a specified section of the community; and, (b) At Large, elected with votes from the full area.
- One (1) Mayor is elected At Large
- Six (6) Councillors are elected by Wards
- Two (2) Councillors are elected At Large
