On Tuesday, May 25, the Public Works Department will add the Town’s newest water well to the system, Well #6, located on Riverview Avenue. This change will result in a water shut off and a boil order beginning when water services are restored.
The shut off and boil order will affect buildings on Riverview Avenue, starting at (but not including) Hillcrest Drive, and continuing upriver to the end of the water line.
A boil order is expected for these homes once the water line is turned on again. Be advised a boil order typically takes two or more days to be lifted. Click here for more information on boil orders.
