Please be advised that the following roads will be temporarily closed for events relating to the annual Family Fun Days in the Town of St. George:
Saturday, July 23 – 10:00am-10:30am
- Event: Little People Parade (kids)
- Portion of Riverview Avenue (Route 770) – from civic 5 Riverview to civic 38 Riverview (350 meters)
- Parade will travel northbound 350 meters exiting onto Adventure Lane
- Traffic will be temporarily stopped at both ends of the parade route for approx. 15-20 minutes starting at 10:00hrs. Town/Volunteer Staff will man barricades, which will be removed at the end of the event.
Saturday, July 23 – 9:00am-2:00pm
- Event: Soap Box Derby
- Portion of L’Etete Road (Route 770) – from intersection of Main Street to Carleton Street (Carleton Street & Main Street will remain open)
- Portion (300 meters) of road will be closed to traffic. Activities and participants will be on closed roadway. Closure will start at 9:00hrs. Town/Volunteer Staff will man barricades, which will be removed at the end of the event.
