The Town of St. George updated its Municipal Plan during a regular meeting of Council on Monday, September 12, 2022. The municipal office received a letter in May, 2023, advising the approval of the Municipal Plan by the Office of Minister of Environment and Local Government.
Under the requirements for a Municipal Plan according to the Community Planning Act, the by-law must also be filed with the provincial Registry Office. A copy was sent to the Minister’s office through the Southwest New Brunswick Service Commission, and confirmation of the registration was received Thursday, November 16, 2023.
