Recycling changes took place as of May 1 of this year, as Circular Materials became responsible for recycling collection throughout the Province. [Circular Materials Takes Over Local Recycling Program]
The Municipal Office recently learned new information to help clarify the recycling calendar for residents in areas formerly included in the St. Patrick LSD. This includes:
• Bethel
• Oven Head
• The western shore of Lily Lake
• Areas around Route 760 to Johnson Settlement
• Areas westward to the border of Eastern Charlotte
These residents will continue to have their garbage and recycling on the same schedule as the rest of St. Patrick LSD. If you received a multi-color calendar from Circular Materials, your recycling week is shown in green. (The schedule for the rest of Eastern Charlotte is shown in dark blue.)
We have updated our Garbage & Recycling page with additional information and links to help residents get the help they need from those companies servicing their area.
For most of Eastern Charlotte, garbage and recycling is contracted at the Provincial level. The Municipal Office continues to build bridges with these service companies and will continue to work at keeping our residents informed when we received updated information.
