ST. GEORGE – Among the topics discussed at Wednesday evenings Regular Monthly Meeting for the Council of Eastern Charlotte was the next phase of upgrades for Riverside Park in St. George.
The park area, located along the Magaguadavic River in St. George, was previously known as the Day Adventure Centre and renamed “Riverside Park” at the meeting of Council in April.
Last year, under the initiative phase of improvements, five buildings were removed from the site. Additional work included the renovation of the bandstand/gazebo and landscaping.
The next phase of improvements will include the construction of an outdoor shelter, additional landscaping work, repairs to the roadway, improved areas for food truck vendors, and more.
