Are you passionate about clear communication and community engagement? We’re looking for dedicated residents to join our Water Communications Sub-Committee for the Blacks Harbour water system.
About the Committee
The role of the Committee is to establish and maintain open communications with the Public Works committee, the Municipal office, and the local community regarding the ongoing project(s) for the water system for Blacks Harbour and Beaver Harbour as well as operational issues or events of the water system including:
-Infrastructure projects and upgrades
-Long-term water sustainability initiatives
-Information exchange regarding important operational issues
Who should apply?
We welcome residents who:
-Care about environmental stewardship and water sustainability
-Are qualified voters of the local government who are residential utility users within Blacks Harbour and Beaver Harbour water systems
-Are a member of the Municipal Electoral District of Ward 6 (1 member)
-Are collaborative, open-minded and community-focused

-Review all information supplied
-Attend all regularly scheduled meetings
-Maintain confidentiality
