2026 Committee Appointments
Eastern Charlotte, June 17, 2026 – Eastern Charlotte is pleased to share the newest appointments of Council members to its standing committees. Municipal committees assist Council by reviewing issues, providing recommendations, and helping shape policies and programs that support the community’s long-term goals.
The appointments will see councillors serving on a range of committees responsible for areas such as finance, personnel, public works, recreation and public safety.
Mayor Craig noted that committee work plays a vital role in supporting Council’s priorities and this structure helps ensure transparency, accountability, and collaboration between Council, Administration, and community representatives as we work together to serve the residents of Eastern Charlotte.
