Public Notice
Take notice that the Council of Eastern Charlotte, under the authority of Section 10 of the Local Governance Act of the Province of New Brunswick, intends to hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at 6:30 pm at Magaguadavic Place (11 J.O. Spinney Dr, St. George) to hear objections and/or comments pursuant to the proposed By-law # EC-05, Dangerous and Unsightly Premises.
The proposed By-law extends the municipal authority regarding Dangerous and Unsightly premises to include the entirety of Eastern Charlotte. This By-law replaces By-Law # 8-D, A Bylaw Relating to Dangerous or Unsightly Premises (2019) for the Town of St. George, and By-law # 2022-02, Minimum Maintenance By-law (Property Standards) for the Village of Blacks Harbour.
Anyone wishing to offer opinion on this proposed By-law may do so in person at the hearing, or in writing by dropping off your letter during regular business hours in the office of the Clerk of Eastern Charlotte at the Municipal Office (1 School Street, St. George), before Noon on June 5, 2023. A letter may also be sent by email to [email protected]. A copy of the proposed By-law may be inspected on the Eastern Charlotte website (www.easterncharlotte.ca), or in-person at the Municipal Office, 1 School Street, St. George where business hours are from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
