Hurricane Lee is currently located in the southwest Atlantic and is slowly moving northwestward. Potential impacts from wind and rain are possible for New Brunswick this weekend.
The New Brunswick Emergency Measures Organization has raised its activation level to Level 1 (enhanced monitoring) due to hurricane Lee.
To provide resources to residents, the Province has created a webpage for information and assistance as a resource to residents: GNB.ca/Hurricane.
NBEMO has recommended to have a 72-hour preparedness kit. For more information, read the “Are You Ready?” pamphlet here.
