Overview
The Mayor delivers a Certificate of Celebration for birthdays and anniversaries meeting the following eligibility requirements:
| Type of Event | Beginning at | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| Birthdays | 65 | ending in “5” or “0” |
| Anniversaries | 35 | ending in “5” or “0” |
At the time of delivery, the Mayor may request a photo be taken to commemorate the event. Recipients may, at any time, decline sharing the photo on social media accounts for the Mayor and Eastern Charlotte.

You can also request a message from the following offices and representatives.
- His Majesty the King,
- the Prime Minister,
- the Office of the Lieutenant Governor,
- the Governor General,
- N.B. Leader of the Opposition,
- Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA,
- Federal Leader of the Opposition,
- Member of Parliament (MP).
Please note, the advised processing and delivery time is currently listed at four (4) weeks.
