Request for Quotes: Road Paving, Manor Road

The municipality of Eastern Charlotte invites respondents to submit a Request for Quotations for road paving on Manor Road (St. George).

Paving area details:

• Approx. 1.2 km; running north-south from Manor Road Connector intersection, in the community of St. George/Canal.
• Padding & Paving
• Minimum Type “D” Asphalt with 2-3 asphalt aprons (driveways) – approx. 1,000-1,200MT
• 15-16 gravel aprons (driveways) & shouldering, crush rock – approx. 700-750MT

Quality Control must be completed by the company’s personnel. The contractor must provide asphalt log sheets to the municipality to ensure the accuracy in volumes provided.

Line painting and landscaping is not included.

Source of asphalt (asphalt plant) cannot be any further than 90km from paving area(s).

Quotations/Tenders must be quoted on as described for length, width and thickness on the attached sheet; and include all preparation work, sweeping and sub grading.

If needed, municipal staff are available to provide location verification of each area.
