The New Brunswick Department of Transportation & Infrastructure (DTI) has advised the Town Office that the South Street (a.k.a. Lower) Bridge will be CLOSED as of Monday, November 25, 2019.
We will continue to post updates as we receive them.
During the closure you will have to follow the Main Street / Wallace Street / Brunswick Street and turn down Campbell Hill Road as the quickest route to South Street in place of the bridge. Please keep in mind the speed limit on this route is 35 km/h throughout.

Travel advisory
The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI) wishes to advise the travelling public that the Magaguadavic River Bridge in St. George will be closed to all traffic starting on Monday November 25th until December 20th, weather permitting.
This closure is required in order to perform rehabilitation work on the bridge. This will be the first of two scheduled closures with the second taking place in the spring of 2020.
DTI apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates the public’s patience.
