The Town of St. George is asking you to put some extra umph in your outdoor decorating this year for the Deck The Town lighting contest.
It’s a time to get your ladders and staple guns ready to prove you’re the best and win your favourite charity a special donation before the new year.
Click here for a map of participating locations. Please be respectful and remember to wait for the evening of Saturday, December 5, for final setup.
Step 1: REGISTER
Fill out the form below with your holiday lighting location, including contact name, address, and charity of choice. Paper forms are available at the Town Office.
Registration EXTENDED until Wednesday, December 2. Your location must be registered to be judged. Participants must be located within town limits of St. George.
Note: Registrants agree to allow the Town of St. George to post their address on the Town of St. George website and social media and, if they win, share their name and address with news outlets.
Step 2: DECORATE
Use lights, garlands, props, inflatables, cutouts, on and around your home or business (within all legal limits, please). Only exterior decorations visible from the street will be judged.
Step 3: LIGHT IT UP!
On Saturday, December 5, coordinate with the annual Tree Lighting to turn on the lights at the same time, lighting up the Town with a holiday glow. (Due to COVID-19 regulations there will not be a public gathering for the tree lighting this year.)
Judging will be completed following the Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 5. Winner will be announced no later than Friday, December 11.
One (1) prize of a $100 Charitable Donation will be rewarded to:

- Best Business Display
