Canal Covered Bridge
Located 5 minutes north of the Town of St. George, the Canal Covered Bridge was built in 1917 and is 38 m (123 ft.) in length. It spans “the Canal” which is a waterway that connects Lake Utopia to the Magaguadavic River.
Water typically runs eastward under the bridge however when the lake is near capacity, the water will move westward. A short distance north of the bridge, visitors can still find former red granite quarries.
