Public Presentation: Proposed Amendment to the Municipal Plan By-law 24-C

PUBLIC NOTICE

Take notice that the Council of Eastern Charlotte, in compliance with Section 25(1) of the Community Planning Act of the Province of New Brunswick, intends to hold a public presentation on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 6:30 pm at Magaguadavic Place (11 J.O. Spinney Drive, St. George), on the proposed By-law 24-C-2301, a by-law to amend the Municipal Plan By-law 24-C.

The Municipality of Eastern Charlotte has received an application to amend the generalized future land use map for a portion of PID 15188352 (110 Mount Pleasant.) the applicant is requesting that Council re-designate a portion of the serviced frontage of their lot so that it is included within the Urban Service Boundary and not subject to the Agricultural limitations, in order to allow for a rezoning and subdivision of four (4) lots off PID 15188352 for the purpose of a residential development.

Anyone wishing to offer an opinion on this proposed By-law may do so in writing within thirty (30) days after the date of the presentation, by dropping off a letter during regular business hours in the office of the Clerk of the Municipality of Eastern Charlotte at the Municipal Office (1 School Street, St. George), by June 29, 2023. A written letter may also be sent and addressed to the Council by email at [email protected]. A copy of the proposed Municipal Plan By-law amendment may be inspected at the Municipal Office (1 School Street, St. George), where business hours are from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
