EASTERN CHARLOTTE – Eastern Charlotte has officially been recognized as New Brunswick’s 18th Age-Friendly Community, marking an important milestone in the region’s commitment to supporting residents of all ages. The occasion was marked by a special presentation from Seniors Minister Lyne Chantal Boudreau, who formally recognized Eastern Charlotte’s achievement and took part in an official flag raising ceremony at Magaguadavic Place in St. George.
This designation adds Eastern Charlotte to a growing network across the province and reflects ongoing efforts to create inclusive, accessible and supportive environments that enable older adults to live safely, stay active, and remain engaged in their communities.
This achievement not only celebrates progress to date, but also sets the stage for continued innovation and partnership in the years ahead.
